Barclaycard presents British Summer Time, is the flagship sponsorship activation in Barclaycard’s entertainment portfolio, spanning venues, events and ticketing partnerships. In 2015, business and communication objectives were met through a strategic action plan successfully engaging with attendees, customers, clients and colleagues with a variety of activations and benefits focussed on demonstrating they can ‘Get more out of today with Barclaycard’. Barclaycard continued to drive spend on card with event tickets sold via Barclaycard entertainment. Onsite, all merchants could take contactless payments, remaining the UK’s only fully contactless festival. The activation delivered outstanding results against a range of PR, social and experiential KPI’s.
