McDonald’s has worked with the four home nation FAs as Community Partner for the past 15 years – investing, supporting and delivering grassroots football in communities across the UK. In 2017, this 15 year celebratory milestone was showcased and highlighted through a number of communication executions, events and promotions – in order to further increase awareness of their community football involvement/achievements and build brand trust amongst parents. We know that people who trust McDonald’s more, visit more regularly.
Results exceeded all expectations, with parents’ awareness of our involvement rising to 52% and 63% now stating they trust the brand as a result.
