Wickes’ goal is to increase advocacy and engagement within the local community. This is delivered through integrating local Wickes store activities into the heart of the community so people feel a connection with their local store.
Through the sponsorship with the EFL, Wickes created the opportunity for children to meet their favourite players and provided recognition to previously unnoticed teams by rewarding them with brand new kit, training equipment and EFL match tickets.
This lead to significant business return to Wickes with 20% of EFL fans more likely to recommend Wickes and 15% more likely to choose Wickes over competitors.
