Over the course of SuperValu’s 5 year sponsorship of the GAA’s All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the brand has successfully leveraged the partnership to demonstrate its strong commitment to supporting local communities. This is evident in our local & Irish scores tracked by RedC, which are +8% over the sponsorship period.
2014 marked the second year of SuperValu’s over-arching brand campaign – “We Believe”; which focussed on differentiating the brand under three pillars; We Believe in Value/Local/Quality. The target audience for this campaign being “quality families”; who are defined by their desire to provide the best quality food to their family.
