In 2017 Electric Ireland launched Game Changers, a grassroots community based women’s football sponsorship campaign with the Irish FA. As a new challenger brand with all marketing communications focused on price and customer acquisition the role of this sponsorship was critical.
As a campaign Game Changers, has evolved in the last 12 months with the introduction of significant new assets including the Senior International team and continues to deliver strong results for brand, business and female football participation levels, whilst allowing the brand to embed itself further in local communities which has led to 15.6% increase in sales.
