As part of ESA’s commitment to uniting and inspiring the sponsorship community, we launched the first member-exclusive ESA Round Tables in 2019. Since lockdown, +80 member organisations have participated in virtual round tables.
Within a strictly confidential setting, the ESA Round Tables allow senior industry leaders a forum to discuss challenges, workshop solutions and explore common ground in a laid-back, informal setting.
The Round Tables are organised into three groups – rights holders, sponsors and agencies – allowing participants from similar industries to explore shared interests and have productive conversations with their peers.
For future ESA Round Table dates, check ESA’s events diary or get in touch.
Feedback from Round Table participants:
An extremely engaging virtual event hosted brilliantly by ESA. It was so refreshing to discuss very relevant topics, with industry peers sharing advice and experiences. Especially in the current climate, I truly believe benchmarking with industry professionals is an excellent way to support each other.
Agencies tend to obsess over what makes us all different, but the round-table was much-needed chance to step away from the day-to-day, chew the fat and take the temperature of the sponsorship world as seen through our shared lens.
It’s great to hear how other organisations are handling life under lockdown and working with their sponsors and partners to engage their audiences now and in future.
Delighted to be involved and hear from other sectors and industries. An unexpected chat about sustainability sparked an idea that I will definitely be pursuing, so that’s the value of these sessions in a nutshell!
It’s always good to take time out and compare notes with industry colleagues, especially in a world of virtual networking when those more incidental but important conversations are harder to choreograph.
The Round Table was a fruitful discussion with peers to gain insights on how other have coped and reacted since the pandemic started. It’s a great opportunity to take some time out of our hectic lives and share thoughts, opinions and experiences with other senior people from similar, but parallel industries.
Great to connect with agency leaders across our industry and get under the skin of the important topics that influence how all of our businesses operate, and importantly how we advise our clients.
Being able to have an honest, private dialogue in this way is really positive… It’s a great and informal way to connect and catch up with a diverse set of rightsholders from around Europe that are all dealing with similar issues as well as to discuss new opportunities that are arising out of the current adverse situation.
This type of round table is very useful. It creates a space to share opinions, thoughts, ideas and fears with professionals that are facing similar challenges. The result is good tips to run our business better.
