A fantastic opportunity for an established digital, content and comms leader to create and build a new service pillar within MKTG Sports & Entertainment.
This role will be responsible for running a new division within the team, focusing on offering industry leading communications services and consultancy to existing and new clients.
This will suit someone with significant experience in content and comms, who is looking for a new challenge within an established agency and the opportunity to build something from the ground up.

About You
You are excited by the prospect of working at an award-winning Sports & Entertainment consultancy and are passionate about delivering brilliant solutions for clients.
You have the experience of working in the communications industry but are as comfortable with digital and social activations as comms and content planning
You will have a flair for building business and servicing clients. This role will require someone who can capitalise on our existing client base by offering new services, but also be able to drive new logo growth in the content and comms sector.
You will also have a reputation and contact base in the industry that will put MKTG Sport & Entertainment on the map in the content and comms space.
You will be flexible and knowledgeable across the sport and entertainment industry to enable you to act as a senior advisor and consultant to clients and sell all of our services
To be able to deliver this we need you to have:
– Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar position with a proven track record of working in digital, social and comms
– Experience working on major sports events on behalf of sponsors or rights holders
– Demonstrable experience in developing new business in the content and comms sector
– International experience of working across markets and regions
– Gravitas and professionalism to engage at a senior level across clients and prospects
– Strategic rigour: A strategic thinker who can provide counsel to our clients and deliver best in class solutions
– An excellent understanding of the sport & entertainment and communication landscape
– Creatively curious with an ability to develop new and exciting ideas
– Prior agency or rights holder experience is essential
– A team mentality, building high performing teams both through line management, influencing and brilliant direction. Experience in managing and delivering against financial and performance targets
