A record 59 students have received graduation diplomas from WADA President Sir Craig Reedie at a lavish ceremony held in London’s Piccadilly.
The European Sponsorship Association (ESA), the membership body that raises standards within the sponsorship profession, is proud to announce that a record number of students who undertook the 2015 ESA Diploma have graduated, and were presented with their graduation honors by the President of the World Anti-Doping Agency, Sir Craig Reedie, at a recent ceremony held at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in London.
The ESA Diploma is the only qualification in the sponsorship industry, and it is now widely regarded as a mandatory pre-requisite for those wishing to pursue a career in any area of sponsorship or sports marketing.
Commenting on the graduates and the quality of their work, Sir Craig said “It fills me with great pride to see the sponsorship industry take seriously the need to educate, and grow, its practitioners. It’s only through continued efforts, such as the ESA Diploma, that we can shape and change the way that the industry works, and ensure that best practice is continually improved upon and passed forward. I wish to extend my congratulations to all those students involved in the graduation.”
Peter Raymond, ESA Diploma Course Director, added “The fact that 2015 was not only the biggest intake year, but also saw record number of our students graduate, highlights to me the incredible work ethic and willingness to learn that everyone has demonstrated over the past seven months of studying.” He continued, “The ESA Diploma has, over the years, proved to be a valuable addition to sponsorship and sports marketing professionals and we’ve now seen over 200 people attain their diplomas. Every graduate has fully earned the right to display the letters ESA Dip after their names. Congratulations to all.”
The ESA Diploma is a seven-month, web-based distance learning course designed for anyone looking to advance their career within the fields of sponsorship and sports marketing.
