Double Dutch is joining the sponsorship line up for the International Wine and Spirit Awards (IWSC) 2022. The award-winning premium innovator in the spirits and mixer market will be the exclusive sponsor of the mixers category at this year’s IWSC Awards. The sponsorship deal was brokered by Reg&Co.
Announced as the official mixer partner for the fifth year in a row, Double Dutch is committed to supporting innovation in the tonic and mixer market. Co-founded in 2015 by Dutch twins, Raissa and Joyce de Haas, the brand utilises molecular gastronomy to create its uniquely delicious and award-winning flavour combinations and is now a proudly carbon neutral business.
The mixers category will include Gin & Tonic, Vodka & Tonic, Tequila & Tonic and Whisky Highball. All will be paired with Double Dutch’s Indian Tonic Water or Double Dutch’s Soda Water.
Double Dutch co-founder, Raissa de Haas said: “We are proud and delighted to be working so closely with the IWSC – one of the leading bodies in the drinks industry. Sponsoring the mixers category reflects our commitment to encourage growth and innovation in the spirits market and we look forward to seeing the results!”
The IWSC Awards 2022 will mark the competition’s 52nd celebration of excellence in wine and spirit making and will bring together the industry’s elite to celebrate the achievements of the past year. With committee judges such as Joel Harrison the award-winning drinks writer and commentator, Charles Maxwell, a Director of The Gin Guild and Shannon Tebay, former Head Bar Manager at the American Bar, The Savoy.

About IWSC
Established in 1969, the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) was the first competition of its kind. Set up to seek out, reward and promote the world’s best wines, spirits and liqueurs, it is now in its 52nd year. The IWSC’s pursuit of excellence underpins every aspect of the competition today.
The IWSC is set apart by the formidable reputation of its judging process. Panels are made up of carefully selected industry experts, including Master Distillers, Masters of Wine, wine and spirits buyers and sommeliers, WSET-qualified educators and respected wine and spirit journalists. Every wine and spirit is blind tasted and assessed on its own merit within the context of its class.
Currently receiving entries from over 90 countries, the IWSC is genuinely international in reach and recognition. The IWSC’s global partners work throughout the year to drive awareness and promote winners to both trade and consumer audiences. With 50 years’ heritage, an IWSC award is recognised internationally as a badge of quality.
