Our Active team are excited to announce that ‘London’s most beautiful running event’ is returning to the world-famous Richmond Park on May 13 2018, with thousands of runners of all levels of ability expected to sign up for an unrivalled day of closed road running and family fun.
Entries for the second edition of the Timothy James & Partners London 10 Mile are now open and following the success of the inaugural edition and we are anticipating entries will sell out fast for one of London’s premier closed road running events.
The 10 Mile entry option is perfect for runners wanting to bridge the gap between a 10K and a Half Marathon, whilst the Sharky & George 1 mile Family Fun Run provides a fantastic opportunity to get the whole family involved in the closed road running action. Both routes will feature on-course music and entertainment which will guarantee a truly unforgettable experience for the thousands of runners who take part.
The Timothy James & Partners London 10 Mile will once again host a Picnic in the Park within the Event Village, giving runners the opportunity to enjoy the traffic-free Richmond Park long into the afternoon and celebrate their achievement with friends and loved ones. With premium food and drink stalls, fun and games delivered by London’s leading kids’ party specialists Sharky & George, live music and fairground activities, there’s something to keep the whole family entertained.
Thousands of pounds were raised for the event’s lead charity partner Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity at the 2017 Timothy James & Partners London 10 Mile and participants have the option of running and raising money for GOSH Charity again in 2018. The money raised will help the charity support seriously ill children at GOSH, and their families too.
Our Active team are also once again working with Parkrun who will benefit from receiving a % of the entry revenue to help keep Parkrun free, for everyone, forever.
Entries for 2018 are now open at: www.london10mile.com
