Last week, the 2021 GUINNESS Six Nations Media Launch took place for the first time in a virtual setting. Verve, as the lead sponsorship agency for title partner GUINNESS, produced and executed a fully online media launch for the 2021 Championship to ensure that all the international media that would regularly attend in person, captured all of the equivalent content needed for suitable coverage of the upcoming Championship.
The event included a custom designed and fully branded virtual space using an intuitive and flexible virtual platform to emulate the same schedule and deliverables as previous physical launches.
With over 200 registered attendees, the fully bespoke platform depicted the key areas attendees would recognise from previous launches. Included were a Main Stage, hosted by world renowned Referee Nigel Owens, 40 Media Rotation Sessions running simultaneously across 5 hours and 8 Content Hubs.
29 socially distanced local crew across 8 locations, enabled the Captains & Coaches to join each interview session live, assisted by 8 session moderators who controlled the flow of each live conversation.
The GUINNESS Six Nations 2021 Championship kicked off this weekend with Verve also managing the delivery of contractual stadium assets across all six Union territories.
