As official partner of Team England at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018, npower’s main objective was to generate favourable awareness and likeability of the brand.
Underpinned by the ‘Power of Support’ campaign npower sought to create a positioning that would live beyond the Games and deliver on the joint ambition for npower and the Team to create the most successful ‘Away Games’ in their recent history. The selected talent was a key factor in providing authenticity and an emotional connection to the campaign.
Athletes and artists were recruited across both sport and music sectors enabling broad reach and engagement with the sponsorship.
