Over the last 3 years AIB established themselves as both the leading GAA and sport sponsor in Ireland. The best teams do not rest on their laurels and with the overall objective for sponsorship being to grow brand affinity and awareness, the 2017 challenge was to leverage AIB’s GAA sponsorships to engage a wider non-GAA audience whilst continuing to demonstrate the brand’s understanding of GAA to hard-core fans. AIB evolved on their already world-class content with use of social a key tool in the distribution and amplification with the goal of building affinity amongst the target audience.
