DHL’s #EveryMoveCounts campaign inspired people from across the world to make the right choices towards a greener future.
We undertook a global search to find the next generation of eco-conscious leaders. Chosen by independent experts including influencer Finn Harries, the winning DHL Visionaries presented two innovations: turning used paper into hand-sanitizer and fans’ kinetic energy to power stadiums. They received mentoring, bursaries, and London E-Prix VVIP access to meet the people already making a difference.
In lieu of crowds at the DHL Valencia E-Prix, we created a Green Grandstand of highly absorbent olive trees as a visual ‘live’ audience spectacle for the drivers and viewers. Afterwards, the trees were planted by the drivers at the track to offset the event’s carbon footprint resulting in a net climate positive race.
In New York, we used cutting-edge hologram technology to connect drivers at the track in Brooklyn with fans in downtown Williamsburg, giving them a unique interaction with stars of the sport in a COVID-safe and carbon-neutral way using holoportation technology, a world first. We made the world greener in Season 7 with creative executions that promoted tangible change. We found new ways to empower and inspire fans, bringing them closer to DHL and Formula E’s shared sustainability goals.
