We expanded the breadth of our work far beyond sport, we developed new and innovative ways to help clients make decisions and we reimagined how we work to fuel the biggest growth that we’ve had in our 10-year history. The results speak for themselves. MediaCom Play, our newly launched gaming, Web3 & metaverse business has become one of WPP’s and industry’s leading capability in the biggest emerging entertainment genre.
We’ve had record breaking revenue growth of 116%, winning major new clients like JP Morgan Chase, Sky Broadband, VMware, eBay, and Coca-Cola to name just a few. Our work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, Sports Industry Awards, Clio awards and Branded Content & Entertainment Festival (Italy) which shows the breadth of sponsorship work which the business is now delivering. But perhaps our biggest accomplishment is the culture which we’ve created which has been fundamental to attracting the best people and being able to deliver ground-breaking work. We are proud and excited and what we’ve achieved this year but we’re even more excited by the opportunity ahead of us.
