Everton Football Club is one of the 12 Founding Members of the English Football League, spending more seasons in the top division than any other Club (120) and crowned league champions nine times.
The Club has lifted the FA Cup on five occasions and, in 1985, added the European Cup Winners’ Cup to its prestigious haul.
Throughout its 144-year history, Everton has been known as a family-oriented Club based on proud traditions, affectionately referred to as ‘The People’s Club’. As such, every supporter has their own unique tale of how they first fell in love, or rekindled an affection with Everton.
The ‘My Everton’ campaign launched by the Club and hummel aims to tap into our worldwide fanbase and engage them in an entertaining series of stories highlighting this shared love of Everton. The first-hand written entries of ‘My Everton’ aim to showcase the uniqueness of Everton by describing moments fans fell in love with the Club – for the first time or all over again.
In return, the showcase offered supporters a unique chance to reach a global audience with their story and win a series of money-can’t buy experiences, ranging from signed merchandise to exclusive access to the training facilities.
Generating just under 13 million impressions in the 21/22 season, the hugely successful campaign has been expanded for the 22/23 season with additional video content and matchday activation to supplement the first-hand written stories.
