For over a decade, NTT DATA has been the official technology partner of The Open, golf’s most venerated championship. More recently, we have been proud to also support the AIG Women’s Open. We offer fans a unique way to experience the championship on the Data Wall and, for our top clients, a VIP suite.
This year, to broaden the reach and appeal for our employees, we added a whole new layer of activations centred on our global workforce to ensure that the content reached more NTT DATA team members.
We launched a video competition, Show Us Your Swing, inviting employees to submit their most inspiring or hilarious golf videos. A compilation video was created and the winners were invited to join us at The Open.
Another group of employees were Brand Ambassadors and engaged fans in front of the Data Wall to explain the technology and the company behind it.
We invited more employees to the championships than ever before, sending a clear message that this event belonged to everyone at NTT DATA.
The outcomes exceeded all expectations: 19 of our global entities published our content compared to 8 last year. The reach increased by 174%, resulting in almost 350% more impressions and over 500% in engagements.
But the statistics don’t tell the whole story. We are already inundated with requests to join the team for next year’s golf season and colleagues have told us that they are proud to work at a company that powers a marquis sports event.
