That’s why we launched This League Takes You There, a campaign to celebrate and promote the Women’s National League (WNL) and its role in developing players for the Women’s National Team (WNT).
The WNT made history by qualifying for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time, creating a buzz around women’s football in Ireland. Our campaign leveraged this momentum to amplify the WNL sponsorship and inspire the Irish football community to support and empower the women in our national leagues. By uniting the League communities behind the WNT, we created a powerful collective voice that championed women’s football and shaped a better future for females across the country. This campaign was transformative, putting community at the heart of Irish football clubs and showing how This League Takes You There.
