SANTA RITA 120 AND ARSENAL FC

Santa Rita’s history dates back more than 200 years, just like our partners Arsenal FC. And just like Arsenal, the values of history, tradition and class are at the heart of every bottle of 120 wine we produce.

Santa Rita have been a partner of Arsenal FC for 4 years and during that time we have celebrated together bringing many wines including the exclusive Special Edition Arsenal 120 to fans at The Emirates and through exclusive experiences for our partners.

120 is about enjoying the simple things in life by spending every moment with the people you love, free of any complications, by sharing a great bottle of wine with friends and family.

In 2020, that was no longer possible. We couldn’t pour our wines at the stadium, we couldn’t engage with fans and we couldn’t deliver exclusive experiences. So what could we do with this sponsorship?

We may be over 200 years old but we embrace social media as well as any tech brand and we were determined to engage fans and most importantly live our brand promise even if we couldn’t be celebrating physically together.

We couldn’t run wine tasting with our partners – so we held virtual wine tasting events live on Instagram.

We couldn’t entertain fans at The Emirates – so we created exclusive fun branded content to keep fans entertained.

We couldn’t celebrate birthdays with a glass of 120 – so we sent special messages on social media.

Finally, we couldn’t celebrate winning the FA Cup with fans so we asked the Manager Mikel Arteta to send a special 120 message to fans.

In 2020, we delivered a branded content programme that is the very essence of our brand – sharing brings people together no matter what adversity we face.
