SAP’s ambition is to be a Top 10 Brand. Becoming Technology Partner to Manchester City was one step towards this – empowering the team with data insights and delivering stats City’s fans crave, a key audience for SAP in reaching their goal.
But fans still didn’t know what SAP does for Man City. The solution: a social media campaign, targeting their global fan-base.
‘Who’s the Blue?’, a series of fun, stat-based videos, featured 4 Manchester City players showing off their skills while disguised in full-body morphsuits. The only clue to their identity was their stats, putting fans’ knowledge to the test. Fans were encouraged to guess each player for the chance to win big.
