Space has been appointed by the UK’s number one dairy company Arla to handle below-the-line communications for chocolate milk brand Cocio as it launches in the UK.
The agency secured the business following previous projects it has delivered for Arla.
Space will be responsible for developing a programme of initiatives aimed at driving trial and growing brand awareness.
Space will be tasked with interpreting the brand’s creative messaging for a UK audience.
Gareth Turner, senior brand manager, Dairy Drinks at Arla Foods, said: “We’ve worked with Space before on our bottled milk drinks category and found them to have a fresh and engaging approach. Cocio is hugely popular in its home market and we believe there is equal potential for the brand in the UK. Space has proven experience in creating work that secures loyal customers which is exactly what we’re looking for with Cocio.”
Jim Carless, head of client services at Space, said: “Cocio has a strong heritage in Denmark and our goal is to find a solid following for it in the UK market. We’re looking forward to working with Arla again and to devising a compelling launch strategy that will drive sales.”
