As Norway’s largest housing provider OBOS is building a massive living project at Ulven, Oslo. The area is being transformed, from concrete, gravel and old industrial buildings into a huge area where people will create a new frame for living. This area is not very known to people in general, so we wanted to create awareness, curiosity and give the people an opportunity to experience a flavor of the rise of Ulven.
OBOS is a proud sponsor of The Norwegian Opera & Ballet (DNO&B). So, we thought “What if we mixed fine arts with the rough context of our building site? To portrait contrasts and that Ulven is a new place to set roots. The idea was inspired from artists, from all over the world, that came out on balconies and roof terraces in the beginning of the pandemic.
On stages created of gravel, concrete, apartments, roof tops and terrasses the top performers from DNO&B performed a spectacular show. We filmed this in high quality and the result was something quite unique and memorable.
The show “Ulven” was widely promoted in paid and owned media. Inviting people to join in on the “live” stream that we aired August 29th at 8 pm. We managed to gather thousands of people in the live stream and created both engagement and 30% awareness of the event in Oslo.
In summary we managed to create a unique experience for our members, and were able to expose our cultural engagement to the public.
