A true cement of social relations, sport is not simply physical activity. It acts as an emancipating activity. Sport helps us go beyond differences, conveys collective values, and stirs emotions that bring us together. Convinced that sport fosters inclusion, Caisse d’Epargne has long been committed to making the practise of sport accessible to as many people as possible. Indeed, sport is an important lever for the revitalisation of regional areas and social cohesion, which the 15 Caisses d’Epargne support on a daily basis within the regions. Involved with organisations, athletes, clubs, and sporting events, the Caisse d’Epargne wishes to contribute to the advancement of sport, making it a lever for social transformation. To this end, it partners with 3 important federations (basketball, handball, and ski), supports over 1500 athletes and 34 different sports, including 15 parasports. On the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games – of which it is a Premium Partner – this commitment takes on a special dimension. It is an individual and collective gathering not to be missed: an opportunity to promote regional areas and their network of initiatives. This is why the Caisse d’Epargne is putting forth its “Useful Pact”, centred around a simple promise: to be useful to athletes, useful to society, and useful at a regional level. In this way, the Caisse d’Epargne is contributing to the realisation of Games useful to everyone, everywhere in France, while at the same time looking to the future by contributing to the legacy of Paris 2024.
