If baseball is America’ s pastime, GAA is Ireland’ s. Passion for GAA is a part of our national identity and its heart and soul can be found within the 1,700 GAA clubs that bind local communities. As one of Ireland’ s largest financial services providers the economic crisis shook the trust and sentiment towards AIB. Going into 2016, AIB has been sponsor to the club game for 24 years and the All-Ireland county championship for one, but of those 24 years it was 2016 that defined AIB’ s commitment to not only the sport, but to the players and more importantly the communities.
