Davy, Ireland’s leading wealth management provider has a long-standing partnership with the National Concert Hall.
As “Innovation Partner”, Davy collaborates with the NCH to provide its clients with cutting-edge music experiences through state-of-the-art ideas and events, in keeping with the company’s “It’s not just business, it’s personal” ethos.
The arts industry in Ireland has suffered greatly due to Covid-19, and Davy wanted to demonstrate its credentials as a true innovator and supporter of contemporary music in Ireland, whilst overcoming the activation challenges posed by the pandemic.
Davy and the NCH teamed up with renowned Irish musician Íarla Ó’Lionáird of The Gloaming to create a piece of music which represented Davy, its people and its values. Through this collaboration, Davy Sound, the company’s audio identity, came to life.
Íarla gained deep insights and inspiration for use creating this unique piece of music through discussions with Davy management and Advisors about the history, culture and ambitions of the company, as well as the “It’s not just business, it’s personal” ethos.
Íarla drew upon his own vast experience with traditional instruments and his passion for electronic music to record a brand score for Davy which is both modern and timeless.
Davy Sound offers Davy endless implementation opportunities across both online and offline platforms. Davy Sound has already been utilised in Davy’s marketing campaigns including advertising and social activity, as well at live events. Davy Sound will also feature prominently in Davy House headquarters, with excerpts planned for use in the lifts and as hold music.
