The use of mobile data is massive among our customers. How could we activate our sponsorship with The Norwegian Ski federation and The Norwegian Olympic Committee to take advantage of this? We wanted to get more loyal customers and to strengthen our position as the top sponsor to the Norwegian alpine skiers. By using the Olympic rings and alpine elements we created a campaign by giving all our customers 1 GB data for each medal Norway won in the alpine disciplines during the Olympics and Paralympics. All our customers needed to do, was to cross their fingers and hope for good Norwegian performances during the Olympics and Paralympics – and then use our My Telenor app afterwards.
