Bastion Connect is pleased to announce that Tribal Clash, the biggest team fitness event in Europe, has become a new client of the Farringdon based agency.
Celebrating its fourth year, Tribal Clash is a team fitness event onBlackpool Sands beach in Dartmouth, England. In August 2016, 1008athletes and 800 spectators ventured south for a festival of fitness and fun on the pristine beach. The majority of the athletes that participate in the event are CrossFit enthusiasts and they have to complete 12 WODs (Workout Of The Days) in their tribes of 3 men and 3 women. It is a true test of determination, fitness and teamwork.
Bastion Connect (formerly known as brandmeetsbrand) were tasked with analysing the functional fitness landscape, building Tribal Clash’s commercial strategy and finding sponsorship partners for the UK event and beyond. 2017 is set to be a hugely exciting year for Tribal Clash as they expand into the Norwegian, Portuguese and additional undisclosed markets.
Building a commercial proposition that was appropriate for both the UK market and a global proposition was a significant challenge for Bastion Connect. Bastion Connect created a more holistic commercial strategy that outlined the routes and structures for expansion. The strategy team of Bastion Connect built the asset register and created new assets in order to value the current event proposition. Categories and target brands were then identified and passed on to the sales division of Bastion Connect to deliver
sponsorship partners for Tribal Clash.
Moving forwards Bastion Connect will be working alongside Tribal Clash to produce a number of sponsorship packages to sell to prospective partners looking to join the movement as it becomes a multi-event proposition.
