Bright Partnerships, the pioneering sport and entertainment agency, has expanded its operations into North America, with the launch of an office in New York City to support global sponsorship clients looking for a greater presence in the region.
The agency has been delivering sponsorship activations in the Americas since 2015, and aligns with the increased popularity of the United States amongst rightsholders – including Formula 1© and The Premier League – who are targeting the country for their next stage of growth.
At the helm of New York operations will be Duncan Harris, who holds extensive experience leading US sports partnerships and has played a key role in the agency’s recent development in London. Harris will step into the role of Vice President and will be supported by key members of the senior Bright Partnerships team.
Services offered will mirror the London office and include sports and entertainment sponsorship management, creative, experiential and events, communications, influencer, strategy and campaign execution.
Speaking on the expansion, Bright Partnerships agency founder, Rob Bruce, said: “Opening an office in New York was an easy decision for us, we’re no strangers to working across global markets and given the growth of European sports properties in the United States, alongside our existing work across US-based sports and entertainment properties, it makes perfect sense for us to have a permanent home in the region where we can serve new and existing clients.”
In reference to Harris’ appointment, Bruce continued: “Duncan has been central to our recent success in London, he understands the company ethos of Pioneering Storytelling and is responsible for ensuring all our activations reflect this. Duncan is driven and committed to the progression of the agency, passionate about culture, and couldn’t be a better candidate to lead the next chapter of our story.’’
Duncan Harris, who is now permanently positioned in New York, said: “I’m proud to be heading up such a significant moment for Bright, in the launch of the agency’s first office outside of London. Bright has a challenger mindset that pushes the boundaries of what is possible, and that’s no different with our new base. Since joining the business, I have relished every challenge and I’m looking forward to guiding prospective and existing clients to new heights in USA.”
Bright Partnerships has already opened its doors in New York City and is based at 55 Water Street, Brooklyn. For enquiries, please contact: duncanh@brightpartnerships.com
