England cricketer Chris Woakes has signed with GRiT Sports Management.
Woakes, who has just completed touring with England’s one-day and T20 teams in Bangladesh (ODI series 1-2 and T20 series 3-0), represents England in all formats of the game.
Since making his debut in the final match of England’s Ashes win against Australia in 2013, Woakes has played 45 Tests, 112 one-day internationals and 29 T20 internationals for his country.
In domestic cricket Woakes represents Warwickshire, and has played in multiple Twenty20 leagues, including for Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League.
Woakes took the new ball during England’s successful T20 World Cup campaign in Australia last November.
After missing the whole of the 2022 cricketing summer with injury and watching the transformation of England’s Test team from afar, Woakes has turned down involvement with this year’s IPL. Instead he will spend April and May trying to force his way into Ashes contention through performances for Warwickshire in the County Championship.
