Despite the dedication of thousands of individuals, community clubs struggle to attract members and volunteers; equally for those who want to get involved it can be hard to know how. To solve this, McDonald’s – Community Partner to the UK FAs – utilised its network of restaurants to support local clubs by hosting over 100 Community Football Days attracting both players and volunteers.
The events combined the expertise of the UK FAs with the sparkle of a sponsor to raise awareness of local clubs and leave a lasting legacy of football participation.
