Overview
Indeed, proud partner of Team Ireland’s campaign, entitled #TalentUnleashed shone a light on Irish athletes, their backroom teams, and their untold skills. It amplified the commitment, hard work, and talent which often goes unnoticed and encompasses Indeed’s commitment to giving Irish talent the best opportunities, while supporting Team Ireland as athletes prepared to unleash their talent on the global stage in Tokyo.
Approach
Through the semblance of #TalentUnleashed, Legacy created a laser-focused PR strategy to generate awareness of Indeed’s sponsorship but also to build an audience for some of our Team Ireland athletes who were of a lower profile before the Games. To achieve our goals, we used PR as the driving force to front an omnichannel campaign, that simultaneously drove awareness of both Indeed and the Team Ireland partnership. To achieve scale, presence, and proximity through PR we used key pillars of communication for the PR activity including The Partnership Launch, Ongoing Ambassador PR Activity, Career Coach programme launch, Athlete Mural reveal plus Ad-hoc/reactive PR. Whilst doing so, we garnered positive engagement, and ultimately affinity through truly unique, impactful, and inspirational #TalentUnleashed storytelling.
Results
Through a highly targeted and successful PR campaign, Indeed’s #TalentUnleashed campaign had a reach of 105,225,730 through PR alone. The campaign resulted in over 155 pieces of national and regional media coverage. The digital reach of the campaign had over 96,690,000 impressions on the #TalentUnleashed hashtag, with an organic social reach of 15,150,003.
In total, this represented an overall campaign reach of 170,058,438.
