Overview
Indeed, proud partner of Team Ireland’s campaign, entitled #TalentUnleashed showcased Irish athletes, their backroom teams, and their untold skills. It amplified the commitment, hard work, and talent which often goes unnoticed and encompasses Indeed’s commitment to giving Irish talent the best opportunities, while supporting Team Ireland as athletes prepared to unleash their talent on the global stage in Tokyo.
Approach
Through our partnership with three carefully selected Indeed ambassadors (Natalya Coyle, Rhys McClenaghan & Sanita Puspure) and overall partnership activations like Career Coach; we effectively kept Indeed and the #TalentUnleashed campaign front of mind in the run up to the Games, driving brand awareness and recall.
Our strategy of execution using the talent, accumulated millions of impressions for the partnership while also raising the athlete’s profile among the general population in Ireland, before the 2020 Olympics. The interviews were coupled with extensive shares of our bespoke video content pieces made for each of our ambassadors, highlighting their talent being unleashed in a thought-provoking, visual storytelling piece. To generate further awareness of Indeed’s sponsorship of Team Ireland, we executed innovative digital and social activations, secured several media partnerships which included TheJournal.ie, Off the Ball, and Spin 103.8. To coincide with the opening ceremony of Tokyo 2020, Indeed unveiled a mural of each ambassador: two in Dublin City Centre and one in Sanita Puspure’s hometown of Cork city.
