Gjensidige – Social sustainability for a better society

At Gjensidige, we’re on a mission to uplift young mental health through our “MOT” (COURAGE) initiative. We harness the power of strategic sponsorships to address the urgent challenge of mental health issues among the youth. Why the emphasis on young mental health? Because mental illness has far-reaching consequences for individuals, families, employers, and society, including our insurance business. By actively engaging young people in sports and social activities, we reduce their vulnerability to mental health issues, ultimately promoting a healthier society.

Through targeted and strategic sponsorships, and partnership with the non-profit youth organization “MOT,” we’ve effectively prevented mental illness in young people. Our innovative school programs, engaging lectures, and digital campaigns create inclusive environments that normalize discussions about mental health. We’ve achieved remarkable results: Full Handball School capacity, high satisfaction among “Youth Athletics Championships” and festival participants, and – most important – a positive shift in young adults’ attitudes towards mental health. This initiative strengthens the lives of our youth and enhances our brand’s positive associations.

Our results demonstrate that we successfully addressed mental health challenges and actively contribute to social sustainability while fostering a healthier, more resilient society.

In the future, we’ll continue to amplify our impact by leveraging sports sponsorships and partnerships like MOT. Our unwavering focus on young mental health equips the youth with tools to navigate life’s challenges, promoting a resilient and socially sustainable future. At Gjensidige, it’s not just insurance; It’s about building a brighter, mentally healthier tomorrow.
