The Challenge
Our key business challenge in 2024 was to ensure that our stakeholders understand what Cairn stand for so that they are comfortable doing business with us.
As a relatively young organisation, we strive to reinforce our commitment to creating thriving communities. We sought a partner with shared values of equality and inclusion to support community growth.
Execution
Social purpose and community connection is paramount for Cairn and our partnership with Community Games was established to demonstrate this commitment to our key audience(s). Over 160,000 young people from 430 towns in Ireland participate in the Games each year and this allowed Cairn to talk to all corners of Ireland.
Our campaign – ‘We’re All In’ – is an open invite from young people to young people to reinforce that when they go all in, they will be supported to become the best version of themselves. The sponsorship illustrates the breadth, depth, and quality of opportunities for growth within Cairn Community Games for anyone who wants to get involved.
Results
- Participation in the Games increased by 2.2% in 2024
- Non-sport category activities like arts and culture grew by 3% in 2024
- Overall consideration for the Cairn brand increased 10%+ over the course of the first year of the sponsorship and has increased 20%+ for those aware of Cairn and the Cairn Community Games sponsorship.
