Paddy Power – Save Our Shirt

Simple brief. Win the hearts of football fans.

Fans have become walking billboards. 50% + of top tier football clubs show betting brands on shirts.

Paddy Power said enough. So we ‘unsponsored’ football.

Our crusade – save fans from betting firms. At Huddersfield Town, we caused a Twitter meltdown with our ridiculous sash logo – a wind-up highlighting the problem of gambling sponsorship. With the reveal of the ‘clean’ shirt, we launched the ‘Save Our Shirt, a campaign encouraging brands to return the sacred shirt to the fans. Now, four more clubs have been ‘unsponsored’ by Paddy Power. Wouldn’t be any other bookie leading the charge, would it?

We know our place. And it’s not on your shirt.
