ESA focuses on growing talent and sustaining a future through education, thought leadership and debate. We also seek to recognise and showcase best practice and excellence through the ESA Awards and raise industry standards with our ESA Diploma, ESA Sponsorship Sales Certificate and ESA Leaders Programme qualifications.
ESA is recruiting a Membership Manager on a part-time and flexible basis to help us to continue to deliver our strategic vision.
Why ESA is important
Sponsorships and partnerships are key marketing platforms. As part of our growth, ESA’s new initiatives allow us to continually raise awareness and understanding of how sponsorship can connect with and engage audiences to achieve objectives and drive growth. ESA exists to support and guide our members, help them deliver on best practice and provide great member benefits. ESA is the voice of sponsorship.
ESA must continue to attract a broad spectrum of new members to ensure growth and be representative of the changing needs of the sponsorship industry.
The role
- Part-time, 15 hrs per week: days / hours agreed to suit (flexible working)
- Home based
- The role will be to grow membership through:
- Generating new members – securing new members and generating new membership revenue from across Europe
- Building relationships with existing and potential members
- Progressing warm leads from the Board / Team and converting to memberships
- Contacting ESA Associates and converting them to members.
- ESA’s Team and Board Directors share the following responsibilities:
- Maintaining contact with existing members to ensure they are making the most of their current membership and are happy with it
- Upselling existing members to more suitable levels of membership.
The right candidate will have:
- Confidence to build new relationships with potential members
- A good knowledge of social media, especially LinkedIn
- Knowledge of sponsorship an advantage
- Fluency in English required; ability to speak other European languages an advantage
- Creative and quick thinker
- Self-starter, uses initiative, comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively
- Results driven
- Ability to work well from home
- The right candidate may be based anywhere in Europe.
Salary: Competitive.
