John Lewis has worked with sport and entertainment agency Fuse Sport + Entertainment to create and build a bespoke customer hospitality garden lounge at this year’s John Lewis Kew the Music festival at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew. Kew the Music – which started yesterday and runs for five nights – is a series of outdoor music concerts sponsored by John Lewis for the third consecutive year. Artists include Elvis Costello, Björn Again, Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Simple Minds and Bill Bailey. Fuse Sport + Entertainment, part of the Omnicom Media Group, has worked with specialist brand experience agency ClinkClink to create the custom-built activation.
John Lewis customers, who won tickets in a myJohnLewis prize draw, will enjoy the hospitality area each evening. Guests will be treated to BBQ food from Weber, Drunken Dairy ice cream, and gin cocktails from Gin Foundry. The concerts will take place on the Great Lawn opposite Kew Palace, and each evening will end with a spectacular fireworks display.
