Special mural unveiled at a celebration event ahead of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix curated by British Artist, David Doran, as a gift from Mobil 1 to Honda.

ExxonMobil’s global leading synthetic motor oil brand Mobil 1, has unveiled a specially commissioned, bespoke artwork highlighting its past six seasons with Honda in Formula 1. Over the past few years, the Mobil 1 brand and Honda have supported Oracle Red Bull Racing in achieving four Drivers’ and two Constructors’ World Championships.
David Doran, an award-winning British illustrator, was selected to design and illustrate a 3×3 meter mural featuring the components, values and spirit that encapsulates the commitment and drive that the Mobil 1 brand and Honda bring to Formula 1. The artwork was inspired by the on-track results and working relationship of the past six seasons, as well as time that Doran spent at Honda Racing Corporation’s UK Headquarters and Oracle Red Bull Racing’s factory.
Together the Mobil 1 brand, Honda and Oracle Red Bull Racing have experienced an era of extraordinary success in Formula 1, winning 71 Grand Prix’s out of a possible 152. The three-way collaboration has seen the team on the podium 136 times, amassing 3980.5 World Championship points since Honda partnered with the team in 2019.
Honda has also been a crucial part of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula One team, which Mobil partnered with in 2025. Collectively, ExxonMobil and Honda have more than 130 years of Formula 1 experience and heritage.
This collaboration will be credited with creating one of the most dominant cars in Formula 1’s illustrious history – the RB19 – winning 21 out of 22 races and claimed both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ World Championships. A testament to the Mobil 1 brand, Honda and Oracle Red Bull Racing’s shared commitment to excellence.
