Former England 2003 Rugby World Cup legends Mike Tindall, Will Greenwood and Neil Back attended the Wolf Run at Pippingford Park on Saturday 28th April, to help promote the return of the event to the same location in September.
The three England legends took on the 10km obstacle run with all the other runners, for the event’s first ever venture into the South of England.
The Wolf Run is an approx. 10k off-road run featuring a series of man-made and natural obstacles located throughout the course. We have four events throughout the year (Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter). The concept behind the Wolf Run is to re-create the feeling of running in natural terrain – a wild run that allows people to experience natural, raw running conditions as far as possible whilst also presenting runners with a challenging, interesting and enjoyable event.
The Autumn Wolf takes place on the weekend of 29th and 30th September.

Mike Tindall said “This is exactly the sort of thing that would be right up our street… about 20 years ago! We were just comparing injuries before we got here so hopefully we’ll all make it back in one piece.”
Will Greenwood – “When I got the invite I thought it looks pretty tough, but when you get there you realise that’s the whole point – you stretch yourself, but have loads of fun while you’re at it. It’s a tough challenge of both natural and man-made obstacles, so we’re looking forward to testing it out today, ahead of the even returning back to Pippingford Park on 29th and 30th September”
Neil Back – “It’s non-competitive and it’s all about teamwork – everyone’s in little groups helping each other out and looking after each other.”
