- cinch Park & Charge will be the biggest EV charging initiative at a UK festival to date, with all 60 spaces snapped up in just 60 mins by Latitude Festival ticket holders

cinch, the UK’s fastest-growing online used car marketplace, is introducing the biggest UK festival electric vehicle (EV) charging initiative yet, at cinch presents Latitude.
In the UK, festival goers’ travel is estimated to make up a whopping 80% of total festival emissions*. To help Brits continue to dance the weekend away in their wellies while reducing their CO2 emissions, cinch is offering EV charging at Latitude for the first time.
cinch Park & Charge is the biggest EV parking at a UK festival to date, with all 60 spaces booked within an hour of release by Latitude ticket holders. Park & Charge is powered by HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), which offers net greenhouse gas reductions of up to 90% in comparison with diesel fuel, and is completely free for 2022 as an introductory offer. Available for Latitude Festival ticket holders only, the spaces were allocated on a first come first served basis, meaning motorists could book a space in advance, drive their EV to the festival in style, and recharge over the weekend. Plug in, charge up, and get down!
cinch is the headline sponsor for Latitude Festival, taking place at Henham Park, Suffolk from 21st to 24th July 2022.
With a huge range of electric vehicles to buy entirely online, cinch helps drivers choose the perfect eco-friendly vehicle to suit their needs, faff-free.
Abhishek Sampat, Head of Electric Vehicles at cinch, says: “With the EV revolution fast approaching and fuel prices showing no signs of dropping, we know that electric vehicles are the future. That’s why cinch is thrilled to be taking the next step towards a greener driving experience at this year’s Latitude Festival. These 60 spaces available at cinch presents Latitude 2022 mark a new stage in festival travel – helping Brits continue to dance on each summer, year after year.”
Melvin Benn, Managing Director at Festival Republic, comments: “At Latitude Festival, we’re delighted to be working with our headline sponsor, cinch, to pave the way for greener travel. It’s no secret that travelling to and from festivals around the country makes up the largest proportion of a festival’s total emissions. We’re thrilled to be able to tackle that in a way that hopefully also makes journeying to Suffolk easier for our festival goers, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone there.”
