Katharine Wolinska appointed to lead Partnerships

RTÉ Commercial has announced a significant expansion of its Partnerships Team as part of its ambition to deliver more innovative, cross‑platform opportunities for brands across TV, RTÉ Player, YouTube, Radio, Digital Audio and Online. The strengthened structure is designed to give clients easier access to RTÉ’s rich content ecosystem and to drive stronger returns on creative and strategic brand work.
Katharine Wolinska has been appointed Commercial Partnerships Manager, bringing extensive experience in creative solutions and multi‑platform brand collaboration. Before joining RTÉ, Katharine led the Solutions & Partnerships function at Media Central, where she worked with major Irish and global brands to deliver large‑scale, award‑winning campaigns. She now leads a team focused on transforming how brands partner with RTÉ’s content, talent and major national moments.

A strengthened team built for growth and creativity, the expanded Partnerships Team at RTÉ now includes:
- Alan Swan, Branded Content Partnerships Manager, brings decades of multi‑platform production experience. Alan previously led content at RTÉ 2FM and iRadio and has deep expertise in branded content, ad‑funded programming and music‑driven storytelling now central to delivering standout brand activations across RTÉ.
- Hannah Meaney, newly appointed to Partnerships Account Manager, brings more than a decade of experience managing high‑profile sponsorships and branded content at Virgin Media Television. Hannah will focus on building strategic, insight‑led partnerships aligned to RTÉ’s editorial strengths and audience reach.
- Paula Kelly, Partnerships Account Manager, has extensive experience both media supplier and agency side. Previous roles include Account Executive at Core and Client Solutions Manager at Virgin Media Television, working with brands like Three Ireland, McDonald’s, Aviva Health Insurance, Audi and Sky. Paula will continue to drive innovative and creative solutions for agencies and clients across RTÉ’s platforms.
- John Spain, newly appointed to Digital Partnerships Manager, has a strong digital and commercial background across sports, entertainment and innovation. He will lead digital‑first partnership development and 360 activations across RTÉ’s digital platforms, with a particular focus on sport.
- Cieran McKeon, Radio Promotions Manager, and Maria Landon, PPS Executive, join the Partnerships Team to deliver a more integrated, streamlined service across radio promotions, PPS activity and multi‑platform activations.
- Kerrie‑Ann (Kerrie) Harpur, Commercial Partnerships Coordinator, joins following the RTÉ Internship Programme and will play a key role in campaign delivery and day‑to‑day client support.
A future‑focused approach to commercial creativity, the expanded Partnerships structure is designed to:
- Offer brands seamless access to RTÉ’s shows, channels, platforms and events
- Deliver bold, cross‑platform creative solutions
- Maximise audience engagement across video, audio and digital
- Strengthen collaboration between RTÉ Commercial and RTÉ Content
- Drive measurable results and campaign effectiveness
