Like all industries, sponsorship has a responsibility to minimise environmental impact and advocate responsible sustainable practices.
In January 2024, sustainability was identified in an annual survey of the sponsorship community as the No.1 trend – for the fourth time in five years. This follows ESA creating a Sustainability Working Group in early 2023, drawing on the diverse expertise of 31 ESA members across the industry’s sponsors, rights holders and agencies.
On this page you can find a range of best-practice guidance, case studies, links and thought-provoking articles – all with one unifying intention: to make sponsorship as sustainable as possible.
