The Tennis Ball, a charitable fundraising event held at The London Hilton on Park Lane, has appointed ESA member Revolution as its PR and social media agency for the 2018 event.
The Tennis Ball, founded in 2009 to benefit two charitable tennis initiatives, Give It Your Max in the UK and IC Philanthropy internationally, is held every two or three years to help disadvantaged and disabled young people to enjoy better lives through tennis.
To date, The Tennis Ball has raised almost £650,000 for the charities, with the 2018 event taking place on Saturday 10 November, set to be the biggest yet, attracting an array of high profile personalities. Sir Trevor McDonald, OBE, will host the evening and outstanding comedian Dominic Holland, father of Spider-Man Tom Holland, will provide the entertainment. Tim Henman OBE will be assisting with the raffle amongst other sporting celebrities.
Lars Clausen, Chairman of The Tennis Ball said: “2018 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for The Tennis Ball, as we look to raise more money than ever for two excellent causes. Revolution’s experience and track record promoting events is hugely impressive, and we’re very excited to be working with the team there.”
Merrick Haydon, Managing Director, Revolution added, “The Tennis Ball is an incredible event raising valuable funds for two great charitable tennis initiatives. We are thrilled to be on board helping to raise the profile of the event and we are aiming for a record attendance this year.”
