20×20 is about changing our perception of girls and women in sport.
Its objective is to create a real and tangible cultural shift by increasing the visibility of our female athletes and championing their strength, skill and success.
Women’s sport is held back by a vicious cycle of lack of attendances, insufficient media coverage and lower participation rates. 20×20 is so-called as it has three measurable targets to increase each of these areas by 20% by the end of 2020.
The movement has gathered serious momentum and was made possible entirely by its five sponsors, AIG, Investec, KPMG, Lidl and Three. It is created by Along Came A Spider and presented by The Federation of Irish Sport.
