In 2017, Dixons Carphone (DC) set their CSR objectives for the year ahead and firmly put their employee’s health and wellbeing at the top of their agenda. Their ambition was to be recognised by Britain’s Healthiest Workplace and their sponsorship of Race to the Stones was integral to the success of this, which saw them recognised as the ‘most improved’ in this year’s awards. Their sponsorship is now in its 5th year and has delivered against multiple employee engagement objectives. To date over 1,000 employees have walked, jogged and ran this award-winning 100km Ultra and as well as increasing their pride in working for Dixons Carphone, it has also raised over £1.5 million for good causes.
