To help SUBWAY engage with a younger, millennial audience, we identified the NFL as a perfect partner as it offered a connection to SUBWAY’s American heritage while being the fastest-growing sport in the UK. In 2017 SUBWAY became the first Lead Sponsor of the NFL in the UK & Ireland as the NFL celebrated their 10th anniversary playing regular-season games in London SUBWAY’s partnership has reached over 800,000 NFL fans, expanded the NFL Flag programme to 11,000 kids, and taken the NFL roadshow to 10 cities in the UK. It’s clear that SUBWAY and the NFL are proving to be “The Perfect Match”.
