Zurich, partner of the German Olympic Team since 2000, set up a new activation concept with two different pillars and founded the Zurich Sports Team – a team consisting of nine young athletes, who represent the values of Zurich and the German Olympic team. Besides a local roadshow, which engages clubs and local agents, Zurich developed a social media concept to introduce the Zurich Sports Team and Zurich´s values to a younger audience, pairing them up with popular influencers to generate optimal reach. The so-called “True Love Stories” showcase athletes and their passions. This allowed Zurich to create content year-round, including this year´s highlight, the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.
