Allianz Ireland and Ellen have worked together since 2017 to promote the common goal of better representation in society as well as sport. This partnership aligns with a core strategic priority of Allianz to promote gender equality and inclusion, and supplements Allianz’ partnership with Paralympics Ireland which began in 2010, making Allianz the longest standing supporter of Para Sport in Ireland
Throughout the past four years, Allianz and Ellen have worked together to champion Para sport and advocate parity of esteem between able bodied and Para sports. The aim has always been to do this in an engaging and educational way, with Ellen at the forefront of much of the activations, from media engagements to TV advertisements and OOH.
In the past year, Ellen has played a hugely important role in Allianz’ Paralympic partnership activations, featuring and launching the Allianz Courage Chronicles series which showcased the journeys of elite athletes whose lifes’ dreams had been put on hold due to the postponement of Tokyo 2020. Ellen also helped to launch Allianz Group’s eight-year partnership with the IOC and IPC in Ireland earlier this year.
Whilst Ellen has been crucial in helping drive brand positivity and recognition for Allianz, illustrayed by a Red C survey post Tokyo, Allianz has also provided an incredible platform for Ellen both nationally and further afield, with the power of Allianz Group internationally helping share the gold medallist from Clontarf with a whole new fanbase.
