Three launch sponsorship of 3Olympia Theatre

In September 2021, Three announced a new partnership as primary sponsors of the Olympia Theatre, Dublin.

Renamed to 3Olympia Theatre, it is one of Ireland’s most renowned entertainment venues, steeped in tradition and rich history. The sponsorship announcement also came at time when venues across the country had remained closed for almost 18 months, due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

To mark this occasion, Three recorded a special concert stream at the venue with a host of Irish artists celebrating some of the world renowned musicians who have performed on the famous stage throughout the years. The artists will each perform versions of their favourite songs from the venue’s legendary setlist, backed by an 18-piece Orchestra. The event was streamed in a first time exclusive through national broadcaster 2FM’s social channels with a 10 day cross station promotion and a one-hour radio special marking the History of the Olympia Theatre.
