Ireland punches way above its weight when it comes to FDI, ranking in the top 10 out 44 European countries but the competition is now fierce from other markets including UK, Germany & France. We are hugely reliant on FDI from multinationals with just three corporate groups accounting for approximately one third of all corporation tax receipts in the state.
Covid had severely damaged our ability to secure new investments as international travel ground to a halt, we could no longer showcase our great country to potential investors in the flesh.
As we came out of the pandemic, IDA Ireland tasked Core with reversing this potentially catastrophic trend that would have significant impact for future prosperity and job creation within this country.

We secured and led a major multi-million-Euro partnership with Bloomberg to be the host sponsor for the New Economy Gateway Forum event (the largest in Core’s history) that put IDA Ireland at the very forefront of the global stage. The results speak for themselves.
